Best Best & Krieger LLP attorneys Albert Maldonado and Daniella Hernandez were elected to positions of leadership on the Hispanic Bar Association of the Inland Empire (HBAIE) Board – Maldonado as president and Hernandez as president-elect.

The HBAIE uplifts the Inland Empire’s Hispanic legal community by fostering engagement with communities, businesses and the bar, while celebrating Hispanic culture. Maldonado and Hernandez are founding members of the organization.

Maldonado practices as a member of BBK’s Municipal Law and Special Districts teams. He provides legal services to cities, special districts and school districts by handling land use, constitutional and ethics issues, and drafting and negotiating various types of contracts. He advises clients on the application of California’s transparency and ethics laws.

Hernandez has worked on a variety of transactions practicing as a member of the firm’s Public Finance team. Such financings include representing public agencies throughout California as bond, underwriter's or disclosure counsel. She has experience with public finance transactions, including Mello-Roos Community Facilities District bonds.
