Diversity News & Initiatives
At Best Best & Krieger LLP, our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) stems far beyond just words on a website. Using our firm’s mission as a guide, our DEI Committee, firm leadership, attorneys and staff embrace and celebrate new perspectives in many ways. See below for a sampling of our recent programs, recognitions, communications and other DEI updates.

BB&K Employee Bystander Training
Harassment in public spaces is a perpetual issue — be it on the basis of gender, religion, race or any one of the many characteristics that makes us all different. The last year, in particular, has seen racism, hate and xenophobic harassment against Asian Americans rise significantly. As part of BB&K’s ongoing work to build an inclusive community, we asked ourselves what can we do if we see someone being harassed?
We partnered with Hollaback! and Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC to learn about the positive impact bystander intervention can have on individuals and communities. In our training, we explored various intervention strategies to better equip ourselves to stand up to any type of harassment.
