Best Best & Krieger LLP ranked No. 3 for minority representation among equity partners in the mid-sized or “101 to 250 Attorneys” category on Law360’s 2023 Diversity Snapshot, reporting 28% of the firm’s partnership are minorities. The firm also earned a No. 8 ranking overall in the mid-sized category with a 3.4 pipeline score. The pipeline score is a breakdown of firms' headcounts by race and ethnicity, and is based on the talent pool from lower levels of attorney hierarchy. This method accounts for the decline in diversity at each successive level of the lawyer career ladder, even as attorneys of color make their way through the pipeline. BBK has consecutively earned a position among the top 10 on the annual Diversity Snapshot for the last several years.

Per Law360 “amid the ongoing efforts to create a more diverse workforce, certain firms are challenging the status quo and actively working to build partnerships that embrace a broader talent pool.”

The Diversity Snapshot is one in a collection of  annual reports published by Law360 highlighting information from the annual Law Firm Survey. The Diversity Snapshot assesses how diversity at U.S.-based law firms compares relative to the potential marketplace of new hires.

Law360 also annually publishes a list of the largest U.S. law firms, the Law360 400, based on results from its Law Firm Survey. BBK was ranked No. 203 on the 2023 Law360 400 list.
