This comprehensive training series equips public agencies with the knowledge and practical tools needed to meet The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) digital accessibility requirements. Throughout July and in conjunction with Accessibility and Disability Awareness month, presenters will host six focused sessions, providing insight and guidelines to create, evaluate, and remediate digital content — from websites and social media to documents and PDFs — ensuring equitable access for all users.

Pacific ADA Center

Founded in 1991, the Pacific ADA Center is a program of the Public Health Institute, a non-profit organization based in Oakland, CA. The Center promotes the full and unrestricted participation in society for persons with disabilities through materials, training, and informal guidance delivered to all with rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The Center is a member of the ADA National Network. The staff of the Center, many of whom have disabilities, have conducted thousands of training sessions with disability organizations, businesses, and governmental agencies across its geographic region.
