Stephanie Véniez
Stephanie Véniez is an Associate at Best Best & Krieger LLP (BBK) and a member of the Special Districts practice group. Stephanie is dedicated to representing public agencies throughout California with a special focus on school districts, particularly in the areas of complaint investigations, special education, disability access, and labor and employment. She brings a wealth of experience to her practice, ensuring regulatory compliance, effective governance, and advocacy for public agencies. She also works extensively with school districts on complex special education issues, helping administrators navigate both regulatory challenges and unique pupil concerns to ensure equitable outcomes for students.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie served as court-appointed counsel in the Juvenile Court of San Bernardino, representing parents, children, and legal guardians in all stages of dependency proceedings. Stephanie also previously represented clients in special education due process hearings, mediation, and administrative proceedings.
Based in Redlands, California, Stephanie is a committed advocate for public agencies, blending strategic insight with her passion for education and social justice. Outside of the office, she enjoys sustainable desert landscaping and is working on creating a native plant garden in her backyard. Stephanie was raised in Montréal, Canada, and is a lifelong hockey fan. She is also a lover of dogs, video games, and iced coffee.
