Stephanie is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Special Districts practice group in the firm’s Los Angeles Office. She focuses on providing guidance to public clients on a broad range of issues, including navigating regulatory and administrative processes. As an associate, Stephanie brings experience gained from working in the nonprofit and public sector and is skilled in reaching solutions to complex issues.

Prior to joining BBK, Stephanie worked for the California Coastal Commission where she negotiated complex settlement agreements and administrative penalty actions in an effort to achieve compliance with the Coastal Act. Stephanie also holds an extensive background in both the nonprofit and public sector, where she has worked closely with state and local governments, providing legal support.

Stephanie received a Juris Doctorate from Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. During her time as a law student, she worked for the Turner Environmental Law Clinic where she co-authored a published report providing state-specific Clean Air Act compliance guidance. Stephanie also holds a Master of Arts, magna cum laude with a special focus on Environmental History, and Bachelor of Arts in American History from Seton Hall University, in South Orange, New Jersey.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys hiking and exploring California’s coastline.
