Shana Inspektor
Shana Inspektor is of counsel in Best Best & Krieger’s Environmental and Natural Resources Practice Group. She advises public agency clients on all issues related to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and represents them in related litigation.
Her past experience includes advising school districts and community college districts regarding compliance with CEQA, the Brown Act, public contracting requirements, and real property issues. In addition, Shana has significant litigation experience representing public and private clients. She has represented public agency clients in litigation involving eminent domain, inverse condemnation, constitutional challenges to government programs, and challenges to bond fund expenditures. She has also represented private clients in litigation involving securities, breach of contract, employment disputes, and products liability.
Shana’s pro bono work has included volunteering through Swords to Plowshares to represent a Marine Corps veteran in his claim for service-connected disability benefits. When outside of the office, Shana enjoys hiking with her family, playing the piano, cooking and yoga.
