Best Best & Krieger LLP (BBK) Of Counsel Jacqueline Wade works alongside her employer clients in their daily operations providing guidance on complex labor and employment legal issues, such as employee terminations and discipline, discrimination and harassment claims, wage and hour claims, family and medical leave, and foundational company policies and procedures. Jacqueline has specific experience assisting clients on all issues related to the Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA). She also conducts sexual harassment avoidance trainings for supervisors, board of directors and employees.

In the midst of today’s ever-shifting employment law landscape, Jacqueline works to ensure that her clients are always well-versed on and compliant with current employment laws as an effort to mitigate risk and liability. In the event that litigation arises, Jacqueline draws on her notable experience representing clients and public agencies in all aspects of litigation. She also has extensive experience leading arbitrations mediations and negotiating trial settlements. Jacqueline has been successful in winning dispositive motions resulting in the early disposition of claims against her clients as well as on obtaining workplace violence prevention restraining orders for employer clients.

In addition to her day-to-day practice, Jacqueline is passionate about dedicating time and talents to pro bono matters. During law school, she earned special honors for her commitment to her school’s immigration clinic, including helping indigent clients in both removal proceedings and affirmative applications for immigrant relief.

Before joining BBK, Jacqueline practiced at Cochran, Davis & Associates and Eskridge Law. In these roles, she gained experience in insurance defense litigation, employment litigation, business and real estate law. She also represented clients in disability and age-related discrimination claims.

Jacqueline grew up in San Pedro, California. Outside of the office, Jacqueline enjoys trips to the beach with her family, cooking authentic Mexican food and watching home remodeling shows.
