Damian Northcutt is a litigator in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Business practice group. Working from the firm’s Ontario office, Damian handles a broad range of complex matters for businesses across a variety of industries.
 
Business and Contract Disputes
Damian works closely with individuals and companies to find early resolutions to challenging business disputes. He has experience with a wide range of civil, commercial, real estate and contract law matters. Damian handles business and contract cases, including those involving breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, financial elder abuse, partnership dissolution, misappropriation of trade secrets, intentional and negligent interference with prospective economic relations and unfair business practices.  He helps small and large businesses navigate mediation, arbitration, and the state and federal court systems.
 
Complex Litigation
Damian represents individuals and companies in complex civil matters, such as class action lawsuits. He successfully handles large cases involving multiple parties, different jurisdictions, high-exposure claims, and unique legal issues. Damian has worked with companies in the health care, outdoor media, food packaging, agricultural, and telecommunication industries.  In addition, he has resolved high- stakes disputes for public entities, joint powers authorities and financial institutions. Damian’s clients benefit from his wide-ranging experience in diverse disputes, and his ability to effectively manage large cases.
