Anya Kwan
She/Her
Anya Kwan is an associate in BBK’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law practice group. With previous experience as a chemist, Anya brings her interest and background to her practice. Anya regularly advises cities and special districts on a broad range of water quality matters relating to the Clean Water Act and Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act including NPDES permit compliance and citizen suit defense. She is also involved with monitoring regulatory updates on emerging contaminants and has co-written comment letters to the EPA related to regulation of PFAS.
In addition, Anya is also involved with water supply planning for our clients and handles reviewing any water supply assessments, water supply verifications, water shortage contingency plans, and the urban water management plans.
Anya earned her J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law, where she was awarded the King Hall Environmental Certificate and King Hall Public Service Certificate.
