Christopher Deal represents title insurers and their insureds, lenders, escrow companies and developers in a range of real estate and business litigation. His practice focuses complex insurance coverage investigations, coverage disputes and bad faith litigation involving title, commercial general liability, environmental and crime/fidelity insurance. Drawing on his prior experience with a major title insurance company, Deal brings extensive industry knowledge to complex litigation involving title insurance transactions and related real estate disputes.

Scott Ditfurth is a civil litigator who focuses on public entity defense and real property-related disputes for public and private clients. His litigation practice encompasses matters involving land use claims and writs, inverse condemnation, easement disputes, eminent domain, contract disputes and construction claims. Ditfurth handles all stages of litigation in both state and federal court, representing clients in a broad range of complex civil disputes.

Richard Egger represents public agencies and private businesses in complex litigation and dispute resolution matters in state and federal court. His public agency practice includes litigation involving the Brown Act, Public Records Act, public contracting, bid protests, Section 1983 claims, fair housing disputes and pre-election challenges. For private clients, Egger handles contract, governance, shareholder, partnership, probate and trust disputes, as well as business dissolution matters. He represents clients through all stages of litigation, including trial, arbitration and mediation, while also helping clients resolve disputes before litigation becomes necessary.

Christopher Pisano is a seasoned litigator with experience handling complex matters for public agencies and private corporations in state and federal court. His practice spans land use, property valuation, water rights, inverse condemnation, construction, civil rights, health care, unfair competition and general business disputes. Pisano handles matters through all stages of litigation, including trial and appellate proceedings, and has served as lead counsel in significant disputes involving infrastructure, water, housing, health care and other public agency issues.

Patricia Ursea focuses her litigation practice on representing public agencies in complex constitutional, municipal and civil rights matters. With a wealth of litigation experience, including eight years devoted exclusively to public agency clients, she handles constitutional torts involving free speech, searches and seizures, and due process, as well as class actions and writs of mandamus. Her broader litigation background includes business disputes, insurance coverage defense, mass torts, antitrust and health care matters. Ursea also advises public agencies on complex disputes involving contamination liability, prevailing wage, water rights, social media, disability rights, election challenges and public works contracts.
