Kristen C. Woodruff is an experienced paralegal at Best Best & Krieger LLP, supporting the firm’s Special Districts practice group. With over a decade of experience in both private and public sector legal environments, Kristen brings a comprehensive skill set to complex litigation and advisory matters. She works closely with two partners and an of counsel, providing critical case management and litigation support from inception to resolution.

Kristen is well-versed in civil procedure, discovery, appellate practice, and trial preparation. Her expertise includes e-discovery using industry-standard platforms, legal research via Westlaw and other legal databases, drafting and reviewing pleadings and discovery documents, and preparing comprehensive trial materials. She also plays a key liaison role with practice support teams, streamlining data-driven litigation strategies.

She holds a Paralegal Certificate with Honors from the University of San Diego and is certified in RelativityOne and RelativityOne Review Pro. Kristen is known for her initiative, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate the needs of attorneys and clients alike.
