Katrina Wraight is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Environmental and Natural Resources practice group. Her practice focuses on complex environmental litigation and administrative matters.
 
Katrina has experience in California state and federal courts litigating on behalf of industry clients and public entities, including cities, counties, port districts, school districts and the state of California. Katrina provides solutions for the investigation and remediation of contaminated sites under the oversight of the Department of Toxic Substance Control and State and Regional Water Quality Control Boards. Katrina has successfully pursued and negotiated insurance coverage settlements for legacy environmental claims relating to contaminated soils, water and bay sediment.
 
In law school, Katrina was a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Bernard G. Skomal, the now Presiding Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. She was the recipient of 2016 Irvin J. Kahn Award for the Outstanding Student in Real Property Courses and CALI Awards for excellence in Climate Change Law and Policy and California Water Law.
 
Katrina was born in England and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She attends Comic-Con each year and is a Forty-Niner and Memphis Grizzlies fan.
