Joshua Verceles
Joshua Verceles is an associate in BBK’s Environmental and Natural Resources Law practice group. He advises city and special district clients statewide on water quality and regulatory compliance issues, as well as assists clients in various environmental litigation matters. His work involves regular interface with the Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, and other regulatory regimes. He also assists in water supply planning efforts, including California Urban Water Management Plans and Water Shortage Contingency Plans.
While at the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, Josh was a board member of UC Law Moot Court, an intern with the Santa Barbara City Attorney’s Office, and an environmental law clinical extern with the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office. He graduated from UC Law with a Concentration in Environmental Law. Before attending law school, he worked in biological research at Caltech then served in the US Air Force. He first joined BBK as a Summer Associate in the Los Angeles office.
When not working, Josh enjoys traveling (especially out-of-the-way road trips), going to concerts and museums, learning languages, cooking, and supporting Liverpool F.C.
