Evelyn Blanco
Evelyn Blanco is an associate and a member of Best Best & Krieger’s LLP (BBK) Municipal Law practice group. Her work focuses on public agency litigation and complex civil matters, with a particular emphasis on Proposition 218, inverse condemnation, breach of contract disputes, and constitutional law matters.
Evelyn's practice includes litigation in both state and federal courts, with work spanning drafting and arguing motions, navigating discovery, and trial preparation. She also counsels public agencies through sensitive matters, helping clients assess and address risks before lawsuits are filed.
Prior to joining BBK, Evelyn practiced as an associate at a large, internationally recognized law firm, where she worked on complex commercial litigation matters, including antitrust, healthcare-related claims, and multidistrict tort litigation.
During law school, Evelyn was involved in the Wrongful Convictions Clinic, assisting in a case that resulted in a client’s exoneration. She also represented families in the Children’s Law Clinic, focusing on compliance with applicable disability laws. In her last year of law school, she had a full-time externship at the D.C. Office of the Attorney General, Anti-Trust and Nonprofit Enforcement Section.
Evelyn and her husband live in the Coachella Valley along with their two Xoloitzcuintle dogs, Raider and Roxy. She stays connected with her community through volunteerism with the Inland Empire Autism Society.
