Chandley Hayes-Crawford is of counsel and a member of Best Best & Krieger LLP’s (BBK) Municipal Law practice group. A versatile and accomplished attorney with diverse legal experience in both public and private sectors, Chandley focuses her practice on real estate and  commercial transactions and providing strategic legal counsel  on management, risk mitigation, regulatory affairs and ESG issues.

Prior to joining BBK, Chandley was a senior attorney with the Houston Airport System, where she provided legal advice to support operations of three airports and a spaceport, and managed real estate and telecommunications projects within the Airport Systems’ Commercial Development section. Prior to joining the Houston Airport System, she worked as a senior attorney for the City of Memphis, where she led efforts for a $200 million convention center renovation and negotiated contracts to safeguard the City’s finances and operations.

Chandley currently lives on a small farm outside of Houston but considers herself the cliched “global citizen” having previously lived in France, Australia, Belize, and Scotland (not to mention, six US states). She has three four-legged children and in her free time, works on (re)learning French for her eventual retirement.
