Carlos Armijo is a paralegal in the Special Districts practice group at Best Best & Krieger.  Under the supervision and guidance of the firm’s attorneys, Carlos aids in the representation of the firm’s clients in matters concerning public works disputes, eminent domain and inverse condemnation actions, water rights cases and other complex litigation.

Carlos has over a decade of experience in a wide range of practices groups including bankruptcy, labor and employment, product liability, appellate and antitrust law. A consistent focus of Carlos’ career has been on complex litigation, class action and multidistrict litigation. In this capacity, he has assisted in all phases of litigation--from inception through trial, including pre-complaint investigations, motion and discovery practice, including the process and review of e-discovery, and post-trial motion practice. 

Prior to joining BBK, Carlos was employed by prestigious Am Law 100 law firms Duane Morris, LLP and Ogletree Deakins Nash Smoak and Steward P.C.as well as nationally recognized law firm Buchalter APC. Most recently, he worked for a premier boutique antitrust law firm prosecuting data breach class actions under the novel California Consumer Privacy Act and violations of the Sherman Antitrust Act, sections 1 and 2, and section 7 of the Clayton Act.

Carlos was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico but has called San Diego home for 22 years. He enjoys group fitness, independent films and writing.
