Carl Jones

Carl Jones is a member of Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Municipal Law practice group and is based in Irvine. Carl previously interned at the Office of the Santa Ana City Attorney, where he gained first-hand perspective in the complexities of municipal law and experience in the many demands of city services, operations, administration and more. Carl aims to provide agile and responsive support to public entities. He enjoys researching new and developing California and federal case law.

Carl earned his law degree at Chapman University, where he was a senior articles editor for the Chapman Law Review and a member of the Mock Trial Board. Carl’s interest in contracts and entertainment prompted him to also earn an emphasis certificate in entertainment law.
 
In his free time, Carl enjoys writing Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, painting, and reading fantasy and science fiction books.
