Schwab Recognized During IMLA 2025 Annual Conference
BBK congratulates Partner and Director of Government Affairs, Ana Schwab, who was presented with the 2025 International Municipal Lawyers Association’s (IMLA) President’s Award: Outstanding Associate Member during the organization’s annual conference in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Schwab has been recognized for her achievements and contributions to the organization throughout 2025. The award was created in 2001 by IMLA's board of directors and recipients are selected by IMLA’s president, with the advice and counsel of its board.
Schwab, a member of BBK’s Environmental & Natural Resources Law practice group, bridges law, policy, and federal funding to advance solutions for local communities, special districts, and stakeholders on matters related to water, wastewater, environmental and infrastructure issues, as well as natural disaster mitigation, response, and recovery. She works to ensure compliance with complex of federal contracting requirements across the public sector and has been instrumental in shaping and advancing key legislation, securing significant funding for water, water recycling, and energy infrastructure projects. Schwab’s deep experiences enable her to deliver meaningful, lasting results for clients and the broader public sector.
