On January 11, 2024, Best, Best & Krieger’s General Counsel, Richard Egger, was installed as Chair of the Executive Board for the Inland Empire Economic Partnership (IEEP), a membership-based organization comprised of public and private business employers in the Inland Empire. The IEEP focuses on advocating for and increasing the Inland Empire’s regional economic competitiveness, educational attainment, and workforce development, focusing on legislative advocacy for the betterment of the region in local and state proceedings.

As Chair of the Board for IEEP, Rich serves as a central figure in guiding the executive board and the organization's mission to accomplish strategic goals and initiatives that advance the economic interests of the Inland Empire. This entails overseeing board operations, setting meeting agendas, and ensuring active participation from board members to effectively address economic challenges and opportunities. In the community, Rich also works to represent the IEEP, advocating for economic development priorities and cultivating relationships with stakeholders such as government agencies, businesses, and educational institutions.
