Meghan Casillas

Meghan Casillas is an attorney with Best Best & Krieger LLP’s (BBK) Advanced Records Center where she combines her legal experience with the firm’s cutting-edge technology to provide efficient and effective support for public records requests.

Before joining BBK, Meghan was an attorney with the State of California Employment Development Department. In this role, she advised the Human Resource Services Division, Equal Employment Opportunity Office managing legal issues pertaining to personnel and public employment law matters including employee discipline, reasonable accommodation requests, and workplace leave laws. Additionally, Meghan managed the Department’s public records requests.

While in law school, Meghan was an intern at Catholic Charities of the East Bay, UC Immigrant Legal Services Center, and World Relief. She also competed in mock trial competitions and served on the Trial Practice Honors Board.

In her free time, Meghan enjoys a variety of hobbies including reading and yoga, as well as spending time with family and friends.
