Katherine Ullrich is an associate in Best Best & Krieger’s Business practice. Katherine, based in the Los Angeles office, focuses on a wide range of health care matters.
 
Katherine has practical experience in various areas of health care. Before law school, Katherine worked at a large behavioral health provider where she primarily negotiated Medicaid contracts. During law school, she externed with Central Health Plan of California’s compliance department, gaining familiarity with regulatory matters, and HIPAA and privacy issues. Before joining BB&K, Katherine represented commercial health plans in payor/provider contract disputes.
 
While in law school, Katherine served on the board of Loyola’s Health Law and Bioethics Association. She also externed at Lanterman Regional Center’s Special Education Law Clinic where she advocated on behalf of students requiring Individualized Education Plans. During her 3L year, Katherine participated in the Loyola Genocide Justice Clinic.
 
In her free time, Katherine enjoys traveling, trying new coffee shops and hanging out with her goldendoodle, Mo.
