Ivy is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s (BBK) Environmental and Natural Resources practice group, with a primary practice in Tribal law. Ivy has a passion for advocating for Tribes and tribal rights and is focused on assisting tribal clients in the wide-range of legal areas that are implicated by asserting and protecting tribal sovereignty.

Ivy’s passion to make an impact in Indian Country led her to the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where she graduated with Honors and a certificate in Federal Indian Law. During her time in law school, Ivy worked with both Choctaw Nation and the Crow Tribe where she became familiar with general counsel policy work, public safety issues, tort litigation, and the importance of culture in protecting tribal sovereignty.

Growing up in rural Wyoming and Montana, Ivy has an understanding of the need for more legal representation in rural areas, including in Native communities. She is prepared to dedicate her legal career to ensuring these communities are advocated for.
