Helen Byrens

Helen Byrens is an associate in the Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Los Angeles office. As a member of the Litigation practice group, Helen represents public and private clients in state and federal court. Helen has experience representing public agencies in various municipal legal disputes including defense of municipal administrative action and civil rights litigation. Helen also works to carefully craft litigation strategies that are resolute and cost-effective for her clients.

While attending the UC College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly Hastings), Helen served as notes editor and staff editor of the Hastings Law Journal. She also participated in the UC College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly Hastings) Moot Court program, specifically the National Family Law Moot Court competition. Additionally, Helen participated in the Mediation Clinic and the Worker’s Rights Clinic during her time at UC College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly Hastings).

In her free time, Helen enjoys playing tennis and golf.
