Elleasse Taylor is an associate in Best Best & Krieger’s (BBK) Municipal Law practice group.  She advises and represents cities and other public agencies in California and beyond on the local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Elleasse focuses her practice on matters involving education, special districts, and city management. She advises on and drafts city manager contracts, reviews and processes discovery requests, and assists school district clients with internal investigations. Prior to joining BBK, Elleasse worked as an extern with the California Department of Justice Civil Rights Enforcement Division. Throughout law school, she volunteered with the University of California, Irvine Law School Criminal Justice Clinic, where she drafted successful compassionate release motions on behalf of clients.

Outside of work, Elleasse enjoys baking, ranking horror movies, dancing, and traveling.
