Casey Powell

Casey Powell is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s (BBK) Municipal practice group. Casey assists clients with business, land use, and real property-related disputes with a focus on eminent domain and inverse condemnation litigation.

Before joining BBK, Casey worked at a boutique law firm in Manhattan Beach where he assisted clients in business and real estate matters, including disputes arising from development projects, the acquisition and disposition of real estate, and various tenancy issues.  

While attending the University of California, Irvine School of Law, Casey clerked with environmental organizations and government agencies focusing on environmental and land use matters. Casey also worked in the Environmental Law Clinic and as an Associate Editor of the UC Irvine Law Review.

Casey grew up in San Clemente and enjoys surfing and fishing.
