Hannah Park is a partner in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s (BBK) Environmental Law & Natural Resources practice group. She advises public agencies and private developers throughout California on navigating the California Environmental Quality Act, the National Environmental Policy Act and related land use and environmental requirements.

Hannah’s practice spans the full life cycle of a project — from early environmental and entitlement strategy through administrative review, project approval and litigation. She helps clients develop practical, legally defensible approaches to environmental review, including environmental impact reports, mitigated negative declarations, statutory and categorical exemptions, addenda and tiered environmental documents. Her experience includes complex housing, mixed-use, industrial, infrastructure and renewable energy projects.

Drawing on her litigation background, Hannah brings a strategic perspective to project planning and environmental review. She works closely with agency staff, consultants and project teams to identify legal vulnerabilities, respond to public and agency comments, build strong administrative records and position projects to withstand judicial scrutiny. When litigation arises, she represents clients in CEQA and land use disputes from the initial pleading stage through trial and appeal.

Before joining BBK, Hannah advised public agencies on local and state law matters, including charter school and environmental law, and handled litigation from inception through trial. While in law school, she completed externships with the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Department of Labor.

Hannah grew up in Orange County and, after living and working in Washington, D.C., for several years, returned to Southern California, where she continues to call home. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling and exploring Southern California’s restaurants and coastal communities.
