Dylan Gunzel represents municipal and public sector clients as prosecution counsel in Best Best & Krieger’s Municipal Law practice group. He works with cities and municipalities to improve the quality of life for their citizens through municipal code enforcement. Dylan also provides administrative advisement to municipal clients for a wide range of constitutional, legislative and jurisdictional problems. He also handles both civil and criminal litigation, and defends police departments across Southern California in protecting information of their officers’ personnel records from disclosure in Pitchess motions.
 
Before joining BB&K, Dylan worked as a family law litigator for a small firm in Wildomar, California, where he assisted families in dissolution, custody and restraining order matters.
 
While attending the Western State College of Law, Dylan interned with the contracts, real estate and business transactions divisions of the Riverside County Office of County Counsel for two summers. His first summer as a law clerk, he assisted county departments clear title for a real estate transaction worth hundreds of millions of dollars. As a law clerk in his second summer, Dylan assisted county departments in a variety of contract reviews, including leasing of county properties to large communication companies.
 
Dylan was born and raised in Riverside, California, however moved to Lake Elsinore with his wife in 2022.
