The San Diego Business Journal recognizes legal and business professionals who are making meaningful contributions to their organizations, industries and communities while advancing LGBTQ+ leadership and inclusion.
Nick is recognized for his experience advising public agencies throughout California on complex municipal and special district matters, with a focus on water, wastewater and energy governance. He serves as general and special counsel to joint powers authorities and special districts, helping clients navigate high-profile infrastructure projects, interagency agreements, open government requirements and utility-related legal issues. In addition to his client work, Nick is a well-respected leader in public law, serving as co-chair of BBK's Open Government and Ethics Group and contributing to several statewide organizations dedicated to advancing best practices for California public agencies.
