Yana Pavlova

Yana is an associate attorney in the Municipal Law practice group at Best Best & Krieger LLP.

Before coming to BBK, Yana worked in a large law firm and represented public and private companies in complex commercial and securities matters. She managed cases through all phases of discovery, dispositive motions, and trial or settlement. She also advised clients on regulatory compliance and risk management, and represented companies in government investigations. 

Most recently, Yana was a manager with the County of Yolo, where she experienced firsthand the unique challenges public agencies face. She administered essential services and utilities, coordinated procurement and contracting, and regularly presented before advisory bodies and policy-making authorities.  

Yana is well-versed in the day-to-day operations of public entities and uses her government experience to assist her clients in all aspects of transactional law. In her free time, Yana enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying nature.
