Pauline Duong is a litigation associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s (BBK) Labor and Employment group. In her practice, she defends public and private employers in state court actions involving FEHA violations like discrimination, retaliation, and harassment; wrongful termination claims; wage-and-hour issues; and PAGA claims. Prior to her litigation career, Pauline worked in various in-house corporate roles, where she counseled tech and financial company clients on matters including employment practices and data privacy.

Her work at BBK continues her longstanding focus on public interest issues. While in law school, she assisted in litigating civil rights and pro bono matters, including briefing for a Supreme Court case involving corporate liability under the Alien Tort Statute (Nestle USA, Inc. v. Doe) and a criminal appellate matter that overturned the wrongful life sentences of her two clients. Additionally, Pauline was an Associate Editor of the UC Irvine Law Review and Senior Notes Editor of the UCI Journal of International, Transnational, and Comparative Law.

A California native, Pauline enjoys spending time by the water, reading, and cooking. She is a devotee of the New York Times crossword puzzle and aspiring Formula 1 commentator.
