Ondrea Taylor

Ondrea U. Taylor is of counsel and a member of Best Best & Krieger LLP’s (BBK) Municipal Law practice. Known for building trusted relationships across executive, legislative and community stakeholder groups, Ondrea is adept at translating legal complexity into strategic advantage — accelerating projects, mitigating exposure and aligning legal operations with organizational growth objectives.

Immediately prior to joining BBK, Ondrea served as counsel with one of the state’s largest private, luxury homebuilders, where she focused on land acquisition, disposition and development pipeline management. Ondrea also spent nearly two decades with the City of Houston as an assistant city attorney and then senior assistant city attorney and real estate section chief. In this role, she led a 24-person team responsible for overseeing all municipal property transactions and was primary legal advisor to the mayor and executive leadership on infrastructure projects, regulatory strategy and high-value acquisitions.

Ondrea lives in the suburbs of Houston with her pitbull terrier, GG, where she enjoys cooking savory dishes, volunteering, reading ghost stories and watching documentaries and scary movies.
