Associate
Mackenzie Paskerian
Mackenzie is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Environmental Law & Natural Resources practice group. She assists clients on issues related to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and associated environmental laws.
She brings experience in local, state, and federal environmental law to help clients navigate complicated land use issues. Mackenzie has worked with various environmental documents, including environmental impact reports, negative declarations and addendums, and CEQA exemption determinations.
Prior to joining BBK, Mackenzie served as a law clerk with environmental law firms, nonprofits, and the San Francisco City Attorney’s Office, where she gained significant experience drafting and reviewing transactional and litigation documents involving CEQA, the Clean Water Act, the Brown Act, and the Permit Streamlining Act.
While in law school, Mackenzie served as the Executive Development Editor for the UC Law Journal, the school’s flagship journal, and as secretary for the University of California Environmental Law Association. When not working, she enjoys trying new restaurants, hiking, skiing, and spending time with her loved ones.
