Louise Simpson

Louise Simpson is of counsel with Best Best & Krieger LLP’s (BBK) and is a member of the Municipal Law practice group, where she leverages her considerable litigation and contract law experience to meet the needs of her city and public agency clients.

Prior to joining BBK, Louise served as Deputy City Attorney and Head Attorney with the San Francisco City Attorney's Office, where she was a critical member of their health, energy and technology, construction and contracts, and trial teams. There, she regularly counseled clients on HIPAA, health IT/EHR and general IT contracts (SaaS, software development), professional services contracts, commodities contracts, construction contracts, risk assessment, dispute resolution, San Francisco Board of Appeals matters, trials, litigation and arbitrations.

Outside of the office, Louise enjoys Pilates/Core40 and spending time with her paint pony, Prima Donna, and her dog, Ringo and Stella.
