Associate Irene Lee is a member of Best Best & Krieger’s (BBK) Municipal Law practice group. She provides assistance on legal research and writing on a variety of matters related to municipal government, as well as contract review and drafting.

From 2023-2024, Irene served as the President of the Student Bar Association at the University of California, Irvine School of Law. From 2022-2024, Irene was the student representative for the Orange County Korean American Bar Association.

During law school, Irene was a core and advanced clinical student for the Community and Economic Development clinic at the University of California, Irvine School of Law. As a clinical student, Irene assisted on issues related to small business and nonprofit development to improve local communities. She also served as a judicial extern for Judge Ronald S.W. Lew of the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and as a legal intern at the Federal Trade Commission: Consumer Protection division. Irene began her work at BBK as a summer associate.

Outside of work, Irene enjoys outdoor runs, walks along the beach, and hands-on hobbies, such as needlepoint and baking.
