Emma Singer

Emma Singer is a business and commercial litigation attorney who also serves as outside general counsel to public agencies and private entities. She advises clients on governance, contracts, regulatory compliance and risk management, and represents them in complex disputes when litigation arises.

Emma’s practice bridges strategic business counseling and courtroom advocacy. She works with public agencies, businesses and financial institutions on day-to-day legal needs, including corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation, compliance obligations and operational decision-making. By providing proactive guidance, she helps clients minimize exposure and avoid costly disputes.

When conflicts cannot be avoided, Emma represents clients in commercial litigation, financial institutions litigation, real estate and property disputes and public records litigation. She develops focused, practical litigation strategies that align with her clients’ operational and financial goals. Known for her responsiveness and clear communication, Emma works closely with clients to ensure they understand their options and feel confident in the path forward.

Before joining Best Best & Krieger LLP, Emma was an associate at Larkins Vacura Kayser and Chenoweth Law Group. She also served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Stephen Alexander of the Multnomah County Circuit Court. Earlier in her career, Emma was an Equal Justice Works Fellow at Greater Boston Legal Services, where she advocated on behalf of underserved communities.
