Elise Rice

Elise is a civil litigation associate at Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Municipal Law and Labor & Employment Practice Groups. She is based in the firm’s Sacramento office, though her cases are venued throughout the state of California. Elise has experience representing public and private entities, covering various areas of law, including but not limited to personal injury defense, employment, construction defect, and property damage.  

During law school, Elise developed clinical experience at the McGeorge Community Legal Services Bankruptcy Clinic. During her final year of law school, she went on to complete a judicial externship for the United States Eastern District Court of California, Bankruptcy Court. 

Elise has a unique combination of experience, resulting from her time as an attorney and prior roles. Her experience includes, but is not limited to global procurement and contracts management. 

Elise is a Sacramento native and enjoys experiencing the ever growing city’s establishments and eateries with her family and friends. She’s a voracious reader and occasionally reviews Advanced Readers Copies (ARCs) provided by various publishers and authors.
