Drew Graf
Drew Graf is of counsel and a member of Best Best & Krieger LLP’s (BBK) Environmental Law & Natural Resources practice group. He advises clients on legal issues surrounding land use, CEQA, zoning, municipal law, the Brown Act, the Public Records Act, and regulatory compliance. Drew has extensive experience appearing before administrative bodies and the ability to provide practical, risk-aware legal advice in fast-paced public-sector environments.
Drew joins BBK from a South San Francisco firm, where he advised clients on land use, CEQA, zoning, and environmental compliance matters involving general plans, specific plans, conditional use permits, and development approvals. He regularly interacted with planning departments, agency counsel, elected officials, and staff regarding project approvals, regulatory interpretation, and policy implementation. Drew also regularly appeared before the California Public Utilities Commission regarding matters involving electric and gas utilities.
Outside of the office, Drew is interested in playing sports, watching TV and movies, and traveling with family and friends. As an Air Force Brat who lived throughout the United States and abroad, he roots for an eclectic mix of teams, including Chelsea Football Club, San Antonio Spurs, San Jose Sharks, Baltimore Ravens, and San Francisco Giants. He lives with his wife and two children in Los Angeles.
