Daniel Trevino II
Best Best & Krieger LLP (BBK) Associate Daniel Trevino II is a member of the firm’s Municipal Law practice. In addition to being a practicing attorney, Daniel holds an active real estate license, which gives him further insight into and understanding of the myriad issues at the intersection of real estate development and municipal law.
Before joining BBK, Daniel practiced municipal law as an associate with a Palm Springs firm, where he acted as deputy city attorney for the cities of Rancho Mirage and Moreno Valley. In that role, he was responsible for drafting and negotiating licenses and lease agreements involving telecommunications, development impact fees, public works construction, waste disposal franchises, and other municipal law matters. Daniel also was responsible for advising his public agency clients on matters involving public works agreement award criteria, piggyback agreements, Regional Housing Needs Allocation requirements, affordability covenant restrictions, density bonus laws, the California Surplus Land Act, and the California Public Records Act (CPRA).
Daniel is a proud Coachella Valley native and lifelong resident of Indio, where he lives with his family and currently serves as chair and commissioner of the city’s Mobile Home Fair Practices Commission. Outside of the office, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
