Catherine Achy

Catherine is an associate in the Municipal Law practice group at Best Best & Krieger LLP and supports public agencies on a broad range of transactional matters related to municipal government.

She brings her experience in federal procurement to help clients navigate complicated federal requirements. Before joining BBK, Catherine worked on all aspects of Federal contracting, including acquisition, contract administration, and disputes, claims, and litigation. Catherine started her legal career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Honolulu and Los Angeles Districts. Much of her experience involves large civil works and military construction projects.

Catherine loves Los Angeles. She grew up in Claremont and attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies and USC for law school. Catherine enjoys the sunshine and playing beach volleyball.
