Bret Zaccaglin

Bret Zaccaglin is Prosecution Counsel at Best Best & Krieger LLP (BBK) and a member of the firm’s Municipal Law practice group. In this role, he represents local municipalities and public sector clients as they enforce local codes to maintain and improve the quality of life for residents. Bret assists in civil and criminal litigation matters, and advises on the myriad of evolving constitutional, legislative and jurisdictional matters faced by his municipalities and public sector clients. 

Bret joined BBK from California based family law firm where he was a senior associate in the Mass Torts and Class-Action Defense practice group. He was responsible for handling discovery, conducting and defending depositions, researching and preparing documentation on personal injury and mass tort issues. 

Outside of work, Bret enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, watching sports, and traveling.
