During law school, Kara clerked for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Appeals Board in Washington, D.C.
Kara is an associate in Best Best & Krieger LLP's Business practice group. She assists clients with navigating all aspects and stages of litigation. She focuses on both public and private clients in their business disputes and litigation matters.
Kara graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she served as president of the Environmental Law Society and student leader for the Environmental Conservation Outreach, one of the Student-Initiated Legal Services Projects at Berkeley Law providing pro bono services. She served as executive editor, and then currents associate editor, for Ecology Law Quarterly. Additionally, she spearheaded Ecology Law Quarterly’s Housing Symposium and served as panel chair for the 2020 Water Law Symposium.
During law school, Kara served as a law clerk for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Environmental Appeals Board in Washington, D.C. and served as a student clinician on the Environmental Law Clinic, working on matters involving toxics and public health.
In her spare time, Kara enjoys hiking, camping, off-roading in the Panamint Valley and photographing natural landscapes.
