Jacqueline Segal is an associate attorney and member of Best Best & Krieger’s Business practice group. Jacqueline, based in the Ontario office, focuses on a wide range of health care matters.

Jacqueline represents Medi-Cal managed care plans amongst other public clients. With a primary focus on litigation, Jacqueline also counsels health plans on a broad range of legal issues including contracting and reimbursement.

While in law school, Jacqueline served as an Associate Justice for the Moot Court Board and participated in several moot court competitions across the country. Jacqueline transitioned from indigent criminal defense to health care law at the California Department of Managed Health Care (DMHC). While at DMHC, Jacqueline prosecuted and enforced provisions of the Knox Keene Act against health plans.

In her free time, Jacqueline enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, maintaining an active lifestyle, and spending time with her two rescue dogs, Stella and Zoe Bee.
