Summer Bosse

Summer is an associate in the Special Districts practice group at Best Best & Kriger LLP (BBK), where she assists public agency clients with a wide range of advisory and transactional matters.

Prior to joining BBK, Summer served as a Deputy Attorney General for the California Department of Justice in the Health, Education and Welfare section. In this position, she defended the State of California, Governor Newsom and several state departments throughout litigation. While attending the University of San Diego School of Law, Summer interned for the Carlsbad City Attorney’s Office, the Chula Vista City Attorney’s Office and the Surfrider Foundation.

Summer was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California, where she still frequents to visit family. In her free time, Summer enjoys camping and everything the ocean has to offer.
