Mary K. Stracke is a paralegal in the Education Law practice group of Best Best & Krieger LLP. She has more than 30 years of litigation and criminal prosecution knowledge and skills to assist BB&K's attorneys with public education matters — primarily in special education. She provides litigation paralegal support to the attorneys who advise and represent school districts and other education clients on a variety of  needs and requirements. These include student disciplinary matters, civil rights and Constitution claims and special education concerns arising under California and federal laws – including the Individuals with Disabilities Act.
 
Mary has worked on litigation teams that have achieved successful outcomes for clients at trial and appeal in California state courts, California and Texas federal courts and the U.S. Circuit Court. As a paralegal at the Riverside County District Attorney's Office, Mary applied her litigation paralegal skills primarily on elder financial abuse and consumer fraud cases.
 
Mary completed the University of California, Riverside's Paralegal Program, and now serves on its Advisory Board. She has completed classes at California State University, San Bernardino and San Bernardino Valley College. Mary serves as a guest speaker to paralegal students at Riverside Community College and University of California, Riverside.
 
Mary supports a number of community groups, including the United Way, American Heart Association, Olive Crest and the San Gorgonio Girl Scout Council.
