SGMA and Groundwater Rights: To Adjudicate or Not to Adjudicate
BB&K Free Webinar
The Sustainable Groundwater Management Act authorizes Groundwater Sustainability Agencies, known as GSAs, to prepare and implement plans to achieve sustainability. While GSAs can impose groundwater production allocations, they cannot alter water rights. This Best Best & Krieger LLP webinar explores the pros and cons of adjudicating water rights in courts, the different types of adjudication processes and how adjudication may or may not impact the SGMA process.
