Transportation Technology Infrastructure: A Smarter Future Requires Smarter Infrastructure

BB&K Free Webinar Series

New transportation technologies offer an opportunity to reimagine our transportation infrastructure. These deployments can reduce congestion and emissions and create more transportation equity. With the Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act set to expire in 2020, now is the time for a robust conversation about infrastructure and opportunity. There are many possibilities to modernize transportation infrastructure in a way that will address future transportation technologies — like automated vehicles and dockless scooters and bikes. Best Best & Krieger's Gregory Rodriguez and the WSP USA Northeast Manager for Planning for the Environment and Traffic Stephen Buckley, P.E., AICP, will discuss smart infrastructure, including 5G connectivity, and how such modernization can be funded.
