Two BB&K Partners Again Recognized as Coachella Valley Top Lawyers

Best Best & Krieger LLP partners Robert Hargreaves and G. Henry Welles were once again named to Palm Springs Life magazine’s “The Desert’s Top Lawyers” list. The magazine conducts a rigorous vetting and screening process to select attorneys who “stand out as the best” in their respective practices.

Hargreaves was recognized in the Government & Administrative and Land Use Environment categories, and Welles was recognized in the Wills, Trusts & Estates and Intellectual Property categories.

Hargreaves, who has earned this recognition consecutively since 2016, serves as city attorney for the City of Palm Desert. He represents the cities of Indian Wells, Coachella, Needles, San Jacinto and Calexico in various capacities. He is general counsel to the Salton Sea Authority, the Valley Sanitary District, the Mt. San Jacinto Winter Park Authority and the Anza Electric Cooperative. He is counsel to the Board of Trustees of the Desert Community College District.

Welles, who has earned this recognition every year since 2017, is a seasoned civil litigator who focuses on trusts and estates, intellectual property, general business and real estate matters. Welles leads the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group and has extensive experience representing private companies, corporate and private fiduciaries, and individuals.
