BB&K Attorneys Appointed to State Bar of California Committees

LOS ANGELES – Six Best Best & Krieger LLP attorneys are beginning, or continuing, their appointments to various State Bar of California committees.
 
Volunteering in leadership positions for the State Bar is a way for attorneys to advance the cause of justice in various ways. This includes playing a critical role in providing updates to colleagues on important changes in their practices through section-sponsored publications and seminars.
 
The BB&K attorneys who are serving the State Bar of California during the 2017-2018 term are:

• Ryan Baron was appointed chair to the Public Law Section Executive Committee and is serving on the Council of State Bar Sections
• Christopher Diaz was appointed secretary to the Public Law Section Executive Committee
• Arlene Prater will continue to serve in her appointment as an advisor to the Labor & Employment Law Section Executive Committee
• Joseph Ortiz will continue his appointment on the Labor & Employment Law Section Executive Committee
• Alisha Winterswyk was appointed secretary of the Environmental Law Section Executive Committee
• Cathy Ta was appointed to the Insolvency Law Committee (a committee of the Business Law Section)
