Small Cell Antennas Debated at Public Meeting

BB&K Partner Gerard Lederer Discussed Small Cell Tower Regulations with Maryland Residents, WTOP Reports

Best Best & Krieger LLP Partner Gerard Lederer discussed small cell antenna installations at a public meeting Monday in Montgomery County, Maryland. The topic was proposed zoning changes that would allow more small cell towers on street lights and buildings, according to a report published Tuesday by Washington’s Top News. County and state lawmakers also discussed the effort to get the FCC to complete a review of its more than 20-year-old radio frequency standards.
“The RF standards need to be updated,” Gerard said at the meeting, according to the report. “I can understand every bit of frustration that might be expressed on RF tonight.”
